I'm Back

Finally... At Home now...
Was having 2 days 1 night Damai Trip with Maternal side Family...
Then, visited Muslim Friends' House...
Then, went Isabella for a drink with the gang...
And Now... I finally reach home and online here...

Kinda tired actually... Didn't sleep well the previous night... The room was too cold dy... I hate that...
Wanted to come back home and sleep for the whole afternoon but went visiting instead...

What a tiring day

It's really nice after taking a cold shower... Fresh...

Anyway, just came back from Swinburne Amazing Race...
Was kinda excited about this event before this because we are required to drive around Kuching in order to get to the stations... It was my first time doing this as we usually had those treasure hunt laa.. and whatever...inside the campus only...

The event was like this...
There were two rounds...
20 groups of us... (each group 4 members)
There was an elimination of 10 groups for the first round... Then, the top 10 groups had to compete in the second round...

Well, our group - ELLO (Edina, Lau Hie Ne, Liew Kay Wee & Oh Chai Yong) won for the first round... Was really happy because didn't expect us would win...
BUT... was kinda angry before the second round started...
Heard A LOT A LOT of complains about our group... They suspected us cheated and that's why we won... Come on... If we did cheat, we wouldn't reach there that late liao ok... We wasted a lot of time just to finish a task only also ok...
Most of them couldn't find where's some of the stations... So, they thought impossible we found it that fast... Please laa hoo... You couldn't find it doesn't mean others can't also... You don't know it doesn't mean others don't know also ok... The thing is just there... It didn't move ok... It depends on whether you choose to know it or ignore it... It also depends on whether you want to win or not... This is depends on you choose to run (aim to win) or walk (don't bother to win)... And And And... Didn't you read the rules properly?!?!?! It did state something like you can ask help from the others... Your friends and phone were there... Why didn't you call and ask for help?!?! =.= Haizz... Be sporting a bit ok... This is a GAME... GAME... GAME... Have to able to bear the loss ok... If can't then don't play laa... =.= urghhh...

Well, was angry until i really didn't have the mood to continue the next round...
The first station was Crystal Ball - BOWLING!!!
Oh my goodness... It's BOWLING!!! which i totally don't have the skill... Imagine laa a few times I went there I always help them to do the drain cleaning... That's the part that really pulled us down... We dropped until became the 4th group that left for next station... Go-Kart was OK... Chloe did her best already... Great job girl... (the ONLY girl that racing with the other guys)
(side track a while... Guys... go go-kart together next time yea... i'm just kinda excited to play... it's cool... hahaa)
Then, just went here and there... Ended up we got 4th place... Didn't manage to get any prize...
1st place - RM500
2nd place - RM300
3rd place - RM100
4th place - Nothing... sigh... very disappointed loo, honestly...

Anyway, I was ok that we got the 4th place...
We already did our best and out of 20 groups, we got the 4th WITH NO EVEN A GUY in our group... YESH!!! WE proved that girls are strong also in playing this type of games... :D
I'm still going to take part in this type of games next time... It's actually fun although it causes us SUPER DUPER TIRED...
My feet is really pain now... RUNNING on the reflexlogy thing isn't a good idea... It really hurts... But compared walking, running isn't that painful AT THAT MOMENT... Really wonder if I still can walk or not tomorrow... Aduhhh...

Anyway anyway, I gotto go now...
Really sleepy... Used up too much energy already...

Was browsing through the photos we took last time...
Was browsing through every single photo folders i have... especially those we took during foundation period... January... March... July...
Was laughing when I saw some photos which we really look funny... Hahaa...
OH!!! There's two photos which really make me laugh like hell... Funny but cute at the same time... Hahaa... One of it, I didn't even know i got it in my pendrive... Another one, I knew it's in my pendrive and everytime I see it, I laugh... It's really very adorable... hahaa...

Have to say sorry that I can't share those photos with you guys without the person's permission... If I post them up without their permission, I assume they're going to chop me into small tiny little pieces... Hahaa... So, I better don't... :D

Weekend

Muscles pain... really pain n sore...
"Thanks" to the bowling session yesterday...
It was my 2nd time playing bowling...
The idea came out randomly from Chloe and Fany...
They called me suddenly and gave me less than half an hour to get myself ready...
It was kinda fun playing bowling although the ball kept going into the "longkang"... :P
Would be going again next time... Probably... hahaa

Anyway, when to Friendship park after done with our CPA meeting...
The last time I have been there was ages ago...
Saw a lot of people there especially parents with their kids... So sweet laa...
Just try to imagine it...
It's like parents bringing their little kid walking around the park... Feeding the fishes together... Then, the daddy taking the photos of the kid having fun... Sweet right... Hehee
Was wondering did my parents and I do these during my childhood time??!?!? Hrmmm... I can't remember... But I can only remember my papa liked to take our photos last time... It was one of his hobbies - photographing... He can randomly says "Let's go... Go take photos... The sunset is very nice..." Then, we would just followed him there (usually was the outdoor carpark behind our house) and just simply posed to let him took our photos...
I miss it... Really... :D

Well, which one have I done??? NO ONE... sigh...

可怕的天灾

窗外早晨的阳光... 强强地打在我脸上... (谁叫我的房间面向东方)
我无能选择... 只好勉强自己从睡梦中醒来...
一步一步地走向洗手间... 洗脸刷牙...
转个身, 往楼下的客厅走去...
坐到沙发上... 拿起电视遥控器... 扭开台湾TVBS新闻台...
我的妈呀! 那台风 (typhoon的华文应该另有其写法...可是我在chinese star里找不到) 还真可怕... 整个南台湾几乎快消失了... 能看见的都是一片片的泥海... 倒塌的房屋... 被吹毁的道路... 无时无刻都有可能发生的土石流...
看着那些可怜, 无家可归, 一无所有的灾民们在那里哭诉时... 心突然酸了起来...
再看见那些灾民们流着泪, 不放弃地祈祷着等待着救灾人员把自己的家人从灾区救出来时... 眼睛已不听使唤了... 一颗颗的泪珠流了下来...
坐在我身旁一起看电视的妈妈也不禁流下伤心泪...
或许我这么说... 你们会觉得很假... 你们真的得看看那新闻... 想必看完之后也会跟我有同样的感受...
还好, 善心的台湾民众没有多虑... 不是出钱就是出力...
还有那些救灾的英雄们... 个个都是冒着生命危险把灾民们救出...
天啊! 真不敢信这么可怕的天灾竟然会发生... 而且那么的突然... 可在那短短的几秒中把那些可怜无辜的生命卷走... 太可怕了! 真的太可怕了!
真不敢想像未来的地球将会是怎样?!?! 不是这里发生天灾就是那里发生天灾... 我们的世界到底怎么啦?!?!?! 我活得到五十岁吗???? 真是个未知数...

还有还有... 最让人气愤的是... 天灾不断... 为什么我们还可以在电视或报章上看见这个这个跟那个那个不和... 拜托... 现在是该全世界团结起来对抗天灾... 不是还在那里做些无意义的战争... 战争不会让事情变好... 只会造成更多的灾害...

我想我说的也够多了...

希望世界和平... 少天灾少人灾... 最好什么灾难都不要有...

It's Back

I got my laptop back yesterday...

It was the hard disc problem...

and My laptop is very old one... really very old.. That's why it took times for the repairman to find a new hard disc for my laptop...

Everything GONE... I need to install download install download everthing...

Of course the basic software are there laa... Just that I need more software to make my life easier... Hahaa...

Time passed really fast... First week of new semester was over... But I still haven't feel anything yet... I mean the Uni-ing/Schooling feel... I'm kinda still in holidays mode - hanging out with friends laa... Keep watching TV laa... and BLa Bla Bla...

Anyway, was celebrating my youngest sister's sweet 16th birthday just nw...

Just had a simple dinner at home...

A simple fried egg can be very nice also... Yea... That's what my mama can do... Can make a simple egg becomes nice... Hehee... Today is my 4th day of school...
Nothing much to catch up as the very first lecture of every subject was used for tutorial registration... And no tutorial yet until nexy week... So, everyone seems to be kinda free this week...
The tutorial registration was STILL~~~ SUCKS... No improvement...
But the final tutorial registration of mine was better... Only the final one then they improve... WHat the~~~
We (as the big group of us) didn't manage to get in the same class...
But ok laaa... I'm fine with it... And I'm OK with my timetable...
Monday and Thursday would be super free as I only have two hours lecture...
Tuesday and Friday would be kind pack as I have lecture and 4 hours tutorial the whole morning...
But basically, the timetable is Ok as I don't really got class in the afternoon... Afternoon isn't a good time to study as I'm kinda sure I would keep yawning during the class... Hey... It's time for napping... hahaa...

Walked around a few shopping malls as Lynnette wanna look for a pair of nice shoes but she didn't manage to get one... Chien Hui got something for herself instead... A pair of shade and shirt... I got nothing for myself... hahaa

It's saturday again

Yesterday...

Went back to Uni early in the morning to attend CPA club's meeting (1st meeting of the new semester)

Later in the afternoon, picked up Lynnette and QianHui (a primary + secondary schoolmate) after sending my sister to tuition... Planned to go cafe kind of place but we went to TheSpring instead (out of idea which cafe to visit) Walked around the mall aimlessly... QianHui bought a pair of sandal randomly at Lea Centre just because she didn't want to look overtall when standing beside us (she was wearing wedges... and she's kinda tall laa actually)
Then, Had our high tea at Kim Bay (new makan place at TheSpring) I suppose it's operated by the same owner of Cosway Bay (at Crown Square) because the foods&drinks shown in the menu were more or less the same... Also, we saw the owner of Cosway Bay at there and he was wearing Kim Bay's uniform...

Left the mall before 5pm as I have to pick up sister from tuition... Brought them to my house first before going out again to have dinner together (QianHui insisted to have steambot as dinner but we ended up having lamb chop at Richmond Place since I told her that we just had our high tea at 4 something and we shouldn't eat too much for dinner... hahaa)

Brought my sister along to the dinner as Lynnette couldn't make it and it seems like it would be a boring night with only two of us... hahaa

Went home at about 9.30pm... Turned emo suddenly with no reason... That's why went to sleep kinda early...

WOW... I'm glad and happy to meet her again... but i doubt she still remember me...
Was having a short chat with her in facebook just now... Was asking her if she still remember me or not... Her answer was "So many years already... Not very sure"
sigh... It seems like she doesn't remember me... *sob sob

Nightmare

OH MY GOSH!!! Scary man...
Was having nightmare last night...
Heart beated so fast...
Dreamed about my final exam's result...
It was out (in the dream... Real life one will be out 2 days later) and my microeconomics lecturer came to me to show me my result and told me that I have to RESIT!!! AND I'm the ONLY ONE in the class who need to resit for the exam!!! OH NO!!! AND my result was super duper LOW!!!
Later on, accounting for success lecturer came to me... Showed me my result... I couldn't remember what he said and how's my result... But the result wasn't good, too...
Overall, the highest I got is PASS...
WTH!!! So Stress... So Worried... So Scared...
Tears almost drop when I woke up suddenly...
MY GOSH!!! I really hope that's just a dream... Really hope it wouldn't happen in real life...
(I couldn't stop myself for worrying about it since few days ago... Even if I don't think of it, it will always pop out in my mind randomly... ARGHHH!!!)


Anyway, was celebrating paternal side grandpa's birthday (couldn't remember how old is him... 70+) at my house last saturday night... The weather was HOT HOT HOT... It was like we were having dinner while doing sauna... All because of Global Warming... Our earth and We are gonna die soon...
(photos haven't been trasferred into the computer... So, not photos at this moment)


The next afternoon, brought my younger sister to watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (Harry Potter IV) at Start cineplex... Well, I found it isn't as exciting as those 5 before it... The starting was a bit boring, honestly... Overall, OK laa but it still disappointing... Let's see how's the last one... Heard that the last one will be splitted into part I and II... Not very sure about this...


Later on, attended maternal side baby cousin's 1 year old birthday dinner at grandma's house...
Was laughing like what when they (aunties and uncles) "interviewed" my 2nd sister's BF... (it was the 1st time my sister introduced him to the big family)
Well, it's just for fun obviously... hahaa... But I guess he really shocked at that moment...

Cut (trimmed laa actually) and washed my hair at Ray's Salon just now (my first time there)
The price is reasonable - RM22 (cut) + RM10 (wash) = RM32 (overall)
RM10 for hair wash is really cheap as they will help you to massage your head and neck (don't know if they do massage girl's back&shoulders or not but i saw them massage a guy's back) for quite long and it was kinda song laa (I personally prefer shampoo boys as their strength is stronger)
Well, I think I will go back again loo... hehee

New One

Went THeSpring with sister last night...
Main purpose - Charles and Keith - Sales up to 70%...
Accompanied her to try on shoes and make decision on what shoes to buy...
She took a few shoes and had a try... The shoe above is one of them actually... But too sad that she couldn't fit in the size that available... She asked me to have a try and said "You try it and If you want, I buy it for you"
WOW... Shocked me!!! hahaa...
Just had a try... Sister said quite nice... (well, the shoe is nice for sure... just that it looks nice or not when it's on my foot) I took quite a long time to decide if I wanna take it or not...
Then, YEAH! I took it... since I only need to spend RM20 to get this shoes - RM7?.?? (due to some "pantang" reason... I have to pay)
She managed to get one for herself, too... Nice...

It didn't disappointed me... (although sometimes i confused about who is who when they are fighting) hehee

Was at Kindy this morning... Was given the Teacher's "Uniform"...
It doesn't looks like an uniform actually but more like what u wear when you cook... Yea... That's how I can describe it... hahaa... Among all the teachers, I was given the one with brightest colour - Chilli Red... The colour is nice but it makes me look fat... (or maybe I'm that fat as I really ate like hell these few days... Having one plate of rice with dishes per meal is not enough... Must eat something after that/before that) hahaa...

Fany came to pick me up in the afternoon... We went to her mum's office a while to check out something... Then, went to Secret Recipe to have lunch... Ordered Iced blended Chocolate (RM8.00) only as I felt guilty for eating too much meat the previous night (ate chicken chop and lots of sausages)... The drink that I ordered was really disappointing... Not nice at all...

Went for the movie after that... :D
Then, went home... EAT EAT EAT again...

Cheese Cake Recipe

Dear Deidre,
Here's the ingredients and the directions to make the cheese cake...

For Base Biscuit Layer
Ingredients:
2 cups cheese biscuit (finely milled) - I used 1 1/2 rolls of the biscuit shown in the photo
60g butter (melted at room temperature) - don't melt it on fire
3 tbsps icing sugar - actually normal sugar is fine laa


For Cake
Ingredient A:
500g cream cheese (softened at room temperature)
150g caster sugar - normal sugar is fine, too

Ingredient B:
3 eggs

Ingredient C:
150g natural yoghurt


Methods:
1. Combine base ingredients together (use spoon is enough) and press firmly onto the base of an 8 inches loose-bottomed cake tin (loose-bottomed cake tin is really recommended if you don't want your cheese cake to be like mine). Keep chilled till firm (I kept it in the freezer laa.. so that it get firm faster... but i'm not sure if it's a correct way or not).

2. Beat cake ingredient A till fluffy. Add in eggs of cake ingredient B, one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Lastly, add in yoghurt of ingredient C.

3. Pour no. (2) into no. (1). Bake in a preheated oven (preheat at 180*C for 10 mins) at 180*C for 50 minutes till done or fine crack lines may appear as the centre sets. Remove, cool and then keep in the refrigerator (keep it for 2 hours like that laa... so that it's firm enough)

DONE!!!

Kindy Day

As I mentioned before... I'm going back to work at Kindy today...
Yea... I did go back...
Something different compared last time... but I can't tell what's the different... I just felt that there were something different...
The very obvious difference is... ALL the kids have their own uniform... Even the 2 years old little kid has one, too... They all look so adorable in that uniform seriously... hehee
There were a few of new faces to me... Can't really remember what's their name... It's so complicated... Wondering why their parents wanna name their kid such complicated name... hahaa

Hey gal, wanna let you know that your beloved Brandon Tan was absent today... Her mum said he kena "cho-sa-ki" (whatever you spell it... hahaa) since last weekend... Might not be going to school for a few days... AND wanna tell you something... Stephanie (remeber???) She is very smart now... She learn thing very fast... She can speak english quite well now which really shocked me... hahaa... AND Beldon... He can speak and understand english quite well now... Still as naughty as before but one funny thing - He scared of teacher Wen also... hahaahahaa... AND the cute and funny guy - Alvis... He can talk now... although the pronounciation is still~ blur... Then, the rest of them... Err... No much changes...

One sad thing... A few of them didn't remember me at all... sad hoo... aihhh

Back to what I promised...

First, Trip to Permai/Damai...
Woke up quite early in the morning to get myself ready then berkumpul at Edina's house...
Departed at about 10AM...
Wanted to have McD as our lunch in Town... unfortunately, it's close temperary due to no electricity... sigh... unlucky us... So, went to KFC instead...

Then, OUR TRIP STARTED HERE... (I have been waiting for this moment long time dy... but the sad thing is... most of you can't make it)
It took us around 1 hour??? to reach there...
"Throw" (ok.. i know.. I'm exaggerating) all of our stuffs under a big tree...
Then, IT'S TIME TO PLAY...

Went to Teo's Seafood Restaurant to have our SEAFOOD dinner...

Ordered Nestum?? Prawn, O-Jian, Butter Chicken and Hot Plate Taufu...

Ordered small portion and shared among 3 of us... (Jason ordered his own fried rice - looks nice and Hui Yee wasn't eating) Don't see them in small portion... They can really make you full when you eat them with a bowl of white rice...
I wasn't satisfy, honestly... as the seafoods weren't taste as nice as I expected... *disappointed face

but the price is OK... It's around Rm7-Rm14 per plate with that portion (that's for what we ordered... I have no idea about the rest)

Jumped into my bed straight after reached home and gave my parents a call to let them know I reached home safely... hahaa

*wasn't putting too much hope that we would have fun on this trip since it wasn't many of us... But I was wrong... It was kinda fun... :D
*my back kena sun burned... It's red until now... sigh and i don't know why my skin seems like more sensitive now... It gets itchy easily... aduh!!!

Wasn't in the mood to join them as I was damn tired the previous night...

But I changed my mind the next morning as my battery has fully charged...

Edina came to pick me up...

We started to sing from 1130AM until 3PM (we were late for half an hour actually... The cheap package is started from 11AM-3PM which only cost us RM15 per person... lunch [1 meal + 1 drink] is provided, too... worth it?!?! yea... it's worth for me)
