It's New Year Eve now!!!

What are people usually do during New Year Eve???

Normally, people would have their celebration/party/gathering with either friends or family OR BOTH... Chit Chat together... Laugh together... Have Fun together... Noise and happiness surrounded them...

I thought I would have something like that, too...

I thought I would have celebration with my paternal family as we did that the past few years... Who knows... My mama said don't have... Even our own little simple family's celebration also don't have since my parents are not around... So, nevermind... I guess I would celebrate it with my gang since Chloe did ask everyone about it... Who knows again... Everyone has their own celebration with family (except me and Chloe... pity us right?!?! sigh... hahaa) So, nevermind again... I guess I can find something to do and have my own "FUN" New Year Eve... hahaa

Had a piece of Pizza and a piece of Fried Chicken (don't know from where... my sister bought it home) as my dinner... So sucky laa... Super not nice...

How pity and sad am I?!?! sigh... New Year Eve lehhh... NO CELEBRATION AT ALL!!! then, HAD A SUPER SUCKY DINNER!!! It's New Year Eve lehhh... Hrmmm... Nevermind... I should be optimistic... At least I still got my computer and TV accompany me... Actually I did ask my sister to go out together but she is LAZY... So, what to do?!?!? Just stay at home only loo... I guess I'm going to countdown on my own later... 10... 9... 8... 7... Zzzz... (fall asleep) hahaa... I guess it might be like that ooo...

Sigh... Nevermind... I'm at least still have a bit of new year feeling since there is firework outside now...

Anyway, attended Jia's farewell lunch this afternoon right after Fany (finally, she's back from her vacation) picked me up from Kindy (last day(2008) working in Kindy... will start again Next Year(2009... it's next Monday actually) and finally, I received my salary... Not much laa) Actually, they decided to go Vogue but unlucky that It didn't open... and we just knew it LAST MINUTE... Thanks to Nancy for telling since she reached there the first... If she didn't I guess we are going to have our lunch super late or I guess it can be called High tea instead of lunch... because this(thinking of place to have our meal) is always our TOP problem when we hang out together... hahaa... So, they changed the venue to The Menu... It was actually our whole gang there but Edina, YuAn and Audrey can't make it... So, the people who went there were:

I thought it's grilled chicken but it's actually fried chicken... I guess I'm going to cough like hell after finish the whole plate... But still ok that I didn't really cough

After the lunch, another problem coming out - "What should we do the next?!?!?!"

Andrien, Jia, Nancy and Olivia went to Pick "n" Pack which is just somewhere there... The rest of us (it was just a coincidence that who still staying were those who followed Fany's car there) had car ride at that area...

Christmas Celebration with Maternal Family again

Just back from my aunty house 1 hour ago... Had Christmas Celebration at her house...

It's a tradition for us dy... We would never forget to have Christmas celebration during the Christmas Eve every single year... Although we are not Christian (only the aunty who we went to her house to have celebration is christian because of her husband is a christian, too)

So, Here's the celebration... It was really fun...But it was not as fun as last year laa... Lotsa people didn't go... It's ok... We still had fun there... hehee

Christmas Celebration with my University Gang

Had our earlier and little Christmas Celebration last night...

This is the first time I celebrated Christmas with friends and received the very first Christmas present from friend...

Date: 22nd December 2008 (Monday)

Time: 630PM (but our celebration only start on 730PM like that)

Venue: My house

Everyone is so cooperative that... Everyone (10 people - 8 girls and the 2 lucky boys... hahaa) was here... This is the Best and Most important thing about this celebration... It was really a long time that we ALL didn't hang out together... hehee

My house decoration... I guess this would be the SIMPLEST decoration among everyone of you who did decorate your house with christmas thingy... hahaa... Sorry laa... No idea how to decorate...

Let me tell you how we gave out our present to each other...
It's like this...
Turn a empty bottle (it's place on the middle and everyone surrounded it) then, whoever being pointed by the bottle is going to give his/her present to the person that they drew... Then, the person who received the present from the first person is going to give out his/her present to the next person that he/she drew... So, just keep this continue until the last person... Then, start again from the first person who received his/her present to open his/her present...

When you see all the photos... Most of them look like we were having prizes giving ceremony... hahaa (everyone said so)
The first lucky GIRL who is being pointed to give out her present is Audrey...
Then, the lucky GIRL who received her present is Fany...

Up: Fany received her present from Audrey - A very Christmas cup??? filled with chocolate (i guess) Down: I received my present from Fany - A pair of Shade, a box of cool black skeleton cartoon plasters, A hand-made calender, A Christmas Sock, A lollipop, A pack of bling bling handphone decoration stuff and 3 hand-made bookmark (i guess they are bookmark... hahaa)

Owww... Just had a Christmas Lunch at Kindy today... Got kinda lotsa foods... All prepared by two mothers of the kids there... Didn't manage to take any photos today... Because I was busy like mad today... Especially when the time they took bath... Run here and there naked... =.="

"Dong Zhi" celebration - maternal family

Happy "Dong Zhi" everyone... Although my paternal family has already celebrate this festival last night... But we haven't make any "Tang Yuan"...
Mama said she is going to make the "Tang Yuan" this morning... So, I asked her to wake me up early in the morning so that I can help her... But she didn't wake me up... By the time I woke up, it was 930AM dy... The "Tang Yuan" is done on the table... =.="
So, just got a bowl (the tradition is everyone must eat... if not you wouldn't grow older... hahaa) although I don't really like it... hehee

I took 18 "balls"... Because I'm 18 now... hahaa... It's not a tradition that you have to eat based on your age laa... It is just what I think nia laa... So, just took nia loo... Really a lot lehhh... I only ate this as my breakfast

If you don't like it's tasteless and very empty like that... Just roll it with some sweet peanuts...


It taste better though... Don't see like this laa... I know it seems like quite disgusting laa... hehee

Other ways to make your "Tang Yuan" taste better...

1. Wrap the black sesame/mashed red bean/blanded peanuts into the "Tang Yuan" then cooked it inside the normal sweet soup...

2. Cooked the plain "Tang Yuan" inside the normal soup laa(water and pandan leave)... But use black sugar instead of using normal sugar...

3. Cooked it inside salty soup instead of sweet soup... Kinda nice also ooo...

Went to grandma house on around 3PM... Went to prepare foods for another party - Maternal family "Tong Zhi" celebration...

I didn't help up actually... But help to eat got laa... hahaa

Eat eat eat again... Fat loo... hahaa

Going to EAT again tomorrow night... Going to have christmas party/celebration with my university gang at my house... Wow... Hope to have lotsa fun... hehee
